We are thrilled to announce that Basta has opened in Malmö at the iconic Lilla Torg, the historic square in the heart of the city known for its charming cobblestone streets, vibrant atmosphere, and beautifully preserved half-timbered buildings. This lively spot brings together centuries of history with the pulse of the modern food scene. Covering 400 square meters and offering 200 seats, our new restaurant is set to become a favourite destination for both locals and visitors.

Basta is a casual dining restaurant brand, offering great guest experiences in beautifully designed places. With a colourful inspiration from the narrow streets of Amalfi up to the north of Milano, we are proud of our generous food and an authentic Italian hospitality. The concept is a part of Urban Italian Group (UIG) and we are a family of 350 amazing people that keeps growing, serving over 3000 guests daily across our 11 trattorias.

About You and The Role

We are looking for curious, energetic and helpful people with a “can do attitude”, previous experience is a plus but not required.

• Deliver food and drinks from the bar and kitchen to our guests
• Restock the restaurant and bar before and during service, making sure all waiter stations are fully supplied and the bar is fully supplied (glassware, ice, garnishes, soft drinks, etc.)
• Collect, polish and restock glasses and other bar equipment.
• Clear, reset and prepare tables so the team can seat guests smoothly
• Make sure the floor, bar area, waiter stations and bathrooms are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Collect empty glassware and plates from the floor and bring them back to the bar and kitchen
• Support the bartenders and waiters in a fast-paced environment, often handling several tasks at once
